Fifth Avenue Suites Hotel
The Alton Group served as Project Management and Owner’s Representative for the Plaza
Fifth Avenue Partners from 1991 to 1996 during purchase and development of the Historic:
”Frederick and Nelson” Building. The Alton Group; provided due diligence for the
purchase, design options, cost analysis and feasibility studies. Utilizing the Team
Concept we assisted the owner in selecting the design team and general contractor. The
Alton Group also completed many of the preliminary “Historic” requirements. In
1995 the Kimpton Hotel Group committed to an agreement in which they would complete the
development of the Hotel. The Alton Group served as their Consultant until opening day.
The 223 Room $26,000,000.00 Hotel was immediately successful.
Gus J. Solomon Federal House
Renovation Project Management of 200,000 square foot interior renovation of the
Federal Courthouse. This 3,000,000.00 project was designed by Zimmer-Gunsul-Frasca and was
awarded the A.I.A. “Best Historic Building Restoration of 1986.”
Durham & Bates Building
The Alton Group served as Owner’s Representative during the due diligence
period, our Real Estate Associate, Patricia Swatzel represented the buyer of this
beautiful historic building.
